DASC training in DAC

Last November, a training course was held at DAC’s offices in Buenos Aires, where staff from DASC – Colombian Directors – deepened the knowledge in areas that were vital for the continuous progress regarding audiovisual authors’ copyright collection.

The importance of deepening and training in the payments area was, together with the general technical and functional operation circuit of DACSIS system, an essential tool in this period. Furthermore, extensive training took place in the Social Action area, a community-oriented area that takes care of subsidies, pensions and loans where DASC – Colombian Directors – had a particular interest for a future agenda.

Learning activities were performed regarding the web-based work registration process and circuit and its final registration in the Office of Declaration of Works and Author’s Rights. It was a productive meeting and help among Latin American communities that believe that ongoing training is the foundation of success.
